File Location Listing is, for all intents and purposes, a meta-search engine.
It crawls configured domains and indexes information about the URLs observed, including:
- URL
- Content-type
- Last modification date
- Title (if available)
- Size
By design, it's not a full-text search engine and so does not index the content of files.
What it provides, is a means to quickly identify the location of a file as long as some part of it's name is known (good naming conventions FTW).
