Whilst all (current) elements of the system have been tested in a lab environment, need to run some real world tests - with the system fitted to a vehicle and behaving autonomously.
System has been fitted to a vehicle temporarily. Current software build is up to Commit ded7b796aae7adbb6acf016be583a7d1ef933a0e.
Has successfully connected to a known network and established the reverse SSH monitoring tunnel.
Queries against the SQLite database indicate the GPS readings have been taken (highest recorded speed is 76MPH).
The journey was also recorded using SpeedView so the accuracy of the measurements can be assessed at a later date.
